Influenced by The Beatles, Syd Barrett, Tom Waits, and Elliott Smith, London-based trio Mozzy Green combine classic off-kilter, observational songwriting with experimental soundscapes and a melodic sonic originality.

Since forming in 2006, Mozzy Green have played at venues across Southern England, and are about to traverse the nation, following the release of official debut single, ‘The Smile Of Sally Anne’, which will be released on 360 Degree Music in October.

The band were recently chosen to open up the new Richard Lumsden West-End theatre production ‘The Rise And Fall Of Lenny Smallman’ at the Arts Theatre, in London’s Soho, playing a 30 minute set each night.

Led by charismatic front man, Ben Sommers and joined by Anna Scott on cello, and Jake Wheeler on drums, Mozzy Green have a unique sound where the richness of the cello provides the perfect compliment to Sommers' haunting guitar lines.
